AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Kids Inc. is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the Rockrose Sports Park will be held on Tuesday.

The Rockrose Sports Park will be an outdoor sports complex for Kids Inc. sports and regional tournaments.

The park will include fields for baseball, softball, soccer, flag football and more.

Organizers say the complex will also drive economic growth.

The groundbreaking will take place off I-27 at 9100 Canyon Dr. with parking in the southwest corner of the theater’s parking lot.

The ceremony is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
