SAN DIEGO, CA — Mission Fed Credit Union recently awarded $230,000 to 26 San Diego nonprofits, the company announced.
The grants were awarded through the “Community is Everything” fund.
MiraCosta Foundation and Interfaith Community Services each received $25,000, while an additional 24 organizations were awarded $10,000 or $5,000 grants. Recipients include MANA de San Diego, San Diego Oasis, San Ysidro Health, Just in Time Foster Youth and more.
The grants build on Mission Fed’s “Community is Everything” fund, which launched in December 2024 with $225,000 awarded to nine nonprofit organizations across the county. Future giving through the program will support emergency and disaster-related needs.
In addition to the fund, the company gives more than $1 million each year to the San Diego community.
“Our goal at Mission Fed — and through the ‘Community is Everything’ Fund — is to improve the lives of San Diegans across the county,” said Doug Wright, president and chief executive officer of Mission Fed. “We’re proud to support a range of organizations that make a meaningful impact every day and contribute to our community’s well-being.”
