SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office and Mackees Funds are hosting their annual Faith and Blue Community Outreach and Deputy Duck Derby on Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Effingham Historical Society.

The day will include vendors, food trucks, raffles and the world’s largest duck, Mama Duck. Proceeds from the duck derby will go to the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes, a program that helps abandoned, abused and neglected children.
