Grab your leather boots and your cowboy hat Sunday for the return of annual country music festival FallFest.

The 33rd annual FallFest event, run by country music radio station I-105 WIOV, returns to Overlook Park in Manheim Township this weekend, featuring country star Dylan Scott as its headliner.

New to this year is a longer catwalk that juts out into the audience to increase visibility of the performers.

Rich Creeger, program director and morning host with I-105 WIOV, said that there’s not a bad seat at the park, but that the longer catwalk will get audience members closer to the action.

Here’s what you need to know before you attend this year’s FallFest music festival.

The basics

FallFest returns to Overlook Park, 2040 Lititz Pike in Manheim Township, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Attendees can enter as soon as 8:30 a.m., and are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for this open-field concert.

General-admission tickets cost $20. Children ages 0-5 years old can enter the concert for free. VIP tickets, which include closer access to the stage, have sold out.

“This is a chance to see five national acts and a fantastic local one for 20 bucks,” said Creeger, who credits the low ticket prices to the event’s sponsors. “That’s pretty much unheard of … when you start talking about artists of this caliber.”

On-site parking at the park costs $25 per vehicle, and must be paid for in advance via FallFest’s website. Off-site parking at Root’s Market, 705 Graystone Road in Manheim, is free. This year, FallFest will offer more free shuttle buses to expedite traveling, Creeger said.

Throughout the festival, there will be several vendors offering opportunities for upgrades to VIP seating, Creeger said.

The performers

FallFest’s headliner, Dylan Scott, is the country musician behind the platinum-selling single, “My Girl.” He also has hits such as “What He’ll Never Have,” “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy” and “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us.”

Scott last performed at FallFest in 2019, though not as the headliner. Creeger said he’s happy to have Scott back this year.

Other performers for this year’s FallFest include:

LoCash, which was formerly called LoCash Cowboys, known for songs such as “I Love This Life,” “I Know Somebody” and “One Big Country Song.”

Cooper Alan, known for songs such as “Colt 45 (Country Remix),” “Take Forever (Hally’s Song)” and “Suit and Tie (Sixteen Tons).”

Drew Baldridge, known for songs like “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” “She Does” and “Can She Have This Dance.”

Meghan Patrick, known for songs such as “She’s No Good For Me,” “The Bad Guy” and “Spirits and Demons,” in which she collaborated with Michael Ray.

Clifton Bryan Country, based in Craley, York County, won I-105 WIOV’s Showdown in the Park competition and therefore gets to perform at the festival as the opener.

“We’re still hoping to provide the same great experience you’ve always come to expect at a FallFest country concert,” Creeger said.
