Over the past couple of years, Jonah Hill has kept a pretty low profile.

As you might recall, Jonah last found himself at the centre of public scrutiny in 2023, after his ex-girlfriend of roughly a year, Sarah Brady, publicly accused him of emotional abuse.

Sarah, who is a semi-professional surfer, shared screenshots of alleged texts she’d received from Jonah, including a list of things that he had seemingly told her violated his “boundaries for romantic partnership.” This alleged list included “surfing with men,” posting “sexual pictures,” having “boundaryless inappropriate friendships with men,” modeling, and being friends with “women who are in unstable places.”

Sarah called Jonah a “misogynist narcissist” and said, “I think fame can put people in an echo chamber of viewpoints, which can enable emotionally abusive behavior.” He did not publicly respond to or address Sarah’s claims, and, as mentioned, he has laid pretty low in recent years.

Now, Jonah is embarking on a new project with actor Kristen Wiig.

Jonah is currently directing a comedy called Cut Off, in which he and Kristen star as rich siblings who are financially cut off by their parents, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
