SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls now has a home for youth sports and positive activities.

The Christian Youth Activity League just opened an 11,000-square-foot facility, offering basketball, flag football, baseball, and track and field for kids in the community.

Founder Carl Teer said the organization’s mission is to expose kids to positive activities, faith, and guidance, all while keeping programs affordable and open to everyone.

“It’s very impactful, but to have a safe place for kids to come. My vision of our future is this is going to be the premier home for youth sports and positive activities for kids in our region. That’s my goal,” Teer said.

The facility also includes plans for after-school homework help and a small fitness area for speed and agility training.
