Gushchin scored twice on six shots in AHL Colorado’s 7-4 win over Calgary on Friday.

Gushchin’s Eagles debut was a success. The 23-year-old will look to make a good impression with the minor-league team, which could earn him a call-up to the Avalanche at some point in 2025-26. Over small stints in the NHL with the Sharks across the last three years, he’s produced a decent five points in 18 appearances.
