Lady Gaga is returning to big screens, this time alongside the likes of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci in the sequel to the hit fashion-comedy The Devil Wears Prada 2.
While the studio hasn’t confirmed her involvement yet, the grapevine was activated when Gaga was spotted by fans in Milan, where the filming for the sequel to the 2006 movie is currently underway. This comes as Gaga continues to go global for her Mayhem Ball Tour, set to conclude in April 2026.
Earlier this year, Gaga made a cameo in Netflix’s hit show Wednesday. Despite the hype woven around her character, Gaga’s short-lived appearance met with huge dissatisfaction from the fandom. No, no, it was not because of Gaga but because it was way too short. Disappointedly, her cameo lasted less than two minutes. What a bummer!
Lady Gaga was last seen on the big screens in 2024, playing the role of Lee Quinzel in Joaquin Phoenix-led Joker: Folie à Deux.
Many details about The Devil Wears Prada 2 are under wraps. What is known is that Miranda Priestly (Streep) will face off against her one-time assistant Emily (Blunt), who is now a powerful executive at a luxury group with coveted advertising dollars. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
