Andersen will play between the pipes in Saturday’s home game against Philadelphia.

Andersen stopped 19 of 22 shots in a 6-3 win over New Jersey in his season debut Thursday. Andersen will likely split the workload fairly evenly with Pyotr Kochetkov (lower body) this season, but the 36-year-old Andersen will probably be leaned on heavily while Kochetkov is on the shelf. Brandon Bussi will be Andersen’s understudy Saturday.
