Julia Roberts is giving her latest menswear look a Noughties-coded twist. In contrast to the oversized silhouettes of her ‘90s power dressing era, the Pretty Woman alum notably started gravitating towards slinkier, more body-hugging fits as she took the trend into the early 2000s. And on Saturday, October 11, Roberts appeared to have replicated one of her most iconic Y2K-era suiting moments by embracing a divisive, Millennial-loved suiting trend.

While attending the After the Hunt headline gala at the BFI London Film Festival, Roberts stunned in a black tuxedo-inspired look on the red carpet. Posing with co-stars Ayo Edibiri and Andrew Garfield, the My Best Friend’s Wedding actress opted for a beauty switch-up, wearing her long, middle-parted auburn hair in a dramatic deep side part reminiscent of its polarizing Noughties heyday. Accentuating her features with a sunset-hued eyeshadow, sculpted cheeks with bold peach cheeks and matching lipstick, and her signature grin, Roberts reworked one of her red carpet signatures with a boxy black blazer jacket with distinct lapels, which she styled with a pair of matching straight-leg black slacks. A plunging unbuttoned white dress shirt with black buttons contrasted her otherwise monochromatic outfit. The star added some major shine with a multi-strand pearl necklace, while a pair of pointy-toed black spiky boots peeped out from underneath her ankle-length hemline.
