OU head coach Brent Venables announced on the Southeastern Conference teleconference call that redshirt junior wide receiver Jayden Gibson is no longer a part of the team, per ON3’s George Stoia.

Gibson has not appeared in a game since 2023. He missed the 2024 season due to an injury and has fallen down the depth chart in 2025.
Gibson has 387 career receiving yards, including 375 in 2023.
