Raleigh police are investigating a shooting outside a sports bar that happened early Saturday morning. 

At around 4:30 a.m., police received a call about a shooting at Touchdown Sports Bar on New Bern Avenue. When officers arrived to the scene, they found one woman and two men with gunshot wounds.

All three were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Officers’ preliminary investigation showed that three to four shots were fired into the bar. 

Police said no arrests have been made yet, and that this case remains an ongoing investigation.

This confirmed shooting is the third that Raleigh police have responded to on or near New Bern Avenue in the last week. 

On Monday, a 53-year-old man was shot near a gas station on New Bern and N. Raleigh Boulevard. He died from his injuries Friday and Raleigh police charged a 16-year-old in connection to that shooting. 

Police are also investigating a possible shooting on Thelma Street right off New Bern Avenue that occurred Friday morning. Police said they found shell casings in the street, and shortly after they received a notice that someone with a gunshot wound walked into WakeMed. They are working to confirm if the two incidents are related.
