Kapanen logged only 5:43 in the contest before leaving. He entered Sunday’s matchup with two assists and 13 hits across five appearances this season. It’s unclear at this time if he will be available for Tuesday’s game against Ottawa, but David Tomasek or Curtis Lazar could fill in if Kapanen misses time.
