Indeed, Derek has previously shared his hopes to keep the his future little one’s sex private, quipping during a Sept. 3 appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark, “You know, there’s not a lot of surprises in life, right?”

He added, “We’re going to keep that one to ourselves.”

But Derek has provided a peek into other aspects of his new chapter, including Hayley’s pregnancy journey. 

In fact, last month, the 40-year-old showed off his wife’s growing baby bump in a touching video. 

Captioning the sweet footage of her holding her belly while sporting a few chic midi dresses, Derek—who tied the knot with Hayley in 2023 following eight years of dating—wrote on Instagram, “That’s my babie’S.” 

Plus, Hayley previously provided insight into how the couple were feeling after they found out they would be welcoming a new addition into their family. 

“We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us,” the 31-year-old wrote alongside a July Instagram Reel that showed their baby’s sonogram, “could be so small.”
