Diane Keaton, the Oscar-winning actress who starred in Annie Hall, has died. She was 79.

A family spokesperson confirmed the news of Keaton’s death to People on Saturday. A cause of death has not been reported.

Keaton got her first acting credit in 1970 as Joan in Lovers and Other Strangers, and she later rose to prominence in 1972 for her role as Kay Adams, the girlfriend of Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone, in The Godfather. She reprised the role in The Godfather Part II in 1974 and The Godfather Part III in 1990.

She went on to collaborate with Woody Allen in Sleeper, Interiors, Manhattan, Manhattan Murder Mystery and Annie Hall, which earned her an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 1978. She also notably collaborated with writer/director Nancy Meyers in films such as Baby Boom, Something’s Gotta Give and The Father of the Bride.

Keaton’s other film credits include The First Wives Club, Red, And So it Goes and The Family Stone. On the TV side, Keaton starred as Sister Mary alongside Jude Law’s Lenny Belardo in the 2016 miniseries The Young Pope.
