* Rock Hill Church of Christ invites community members to a Fall Revival set for Oct. 12 – 15 with guest speakers Mark Dawson Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Brandon Baggett (Monday), Dennis Sanders (Tuesday) and Dean Kelly (Wednesday) nightly at 7 p.m. Children’s Church begins at 9:45 a.m. with Bible class at 10 a.m. and lunch at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

* Alabama Baptist churches are collecting gift-filled Christmas Backpacks through Oct. 17 as a tool to aid church planters in Enterprise connect with families to share the Gospel. Volunteers are needed for a distribution event on Dec. 13. For more information, call (334) 306-4641.

* The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association will host its monthly food distribution on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.

* The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association WMU will host its quarterly meeting with the theme “Living Out the Gospel” featuring guest speaker Rob Jackson on Monday, Oct. 20 at Union Baptist Church. Persons creating Christmas Backpacks should bring them at 5:30 p.m. The meal begins at 6 p.m. with service following at 6:45 p.m.

* The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association will host its annual meeting Thursday, Oct. 23, 3:45 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

* Mt. Carmel Methodist Church and Cool Springs Cemetery will host a turkey shoot at Seller’s Station Water System, 1473 Pettus Road in Lapine Nov. 1 beginning at 9 a.m. until turkeys, hams, cakes and more run out. Cost is $5 per shot. Raffle tickets will be sold at $6 each, 2 for $10 or 5 for $20. First prize: $350 cash, second prize: chest freezer, third prize: $100 cash and fourth prize: $50 cash. Hamburger/hot dog lunch will be available for purchase.
