Faith McWilliams

OBITUARY

Born in Moline, IL, Faith married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) McWilliams in 1952. Married nearly 70 years, they shared a deep love of family and raised three children in the Chicago area. After teaching pre-school for several years, she earned her MSW from George Williams College and enjoyed a rewarding career as a school social worker. Faith was an avid reader and even after losing her vision she continued to listen to audio books through the Braille Institute. Faith is survived by her children and their families; Mike (Linda) McWilliams, Tim (Mary Lou) McWilliams, Suzi (Erick) Hudson, her sister Sharon (Carlyle) Smith, and many special nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, cousins, and relatives in Sweden. A celebration of life will be held Oct 25, 2PM, at La Mesa First United Methodist Church.
