The Minnesota Ballet is getting ready for its biggest fundraiser of the year: the Celebrity Dance Challenge.

Local celebrities, public figures, and business owners are paired up with ballet dancers as they create and choreograph a dance number.

These will be performed on Thursday, October 9. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a happy hour featuring appetizers and a cash bar. The performance is at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $50. Proceeds support the Minnesota Ballet’s educational programs and its professional dance company.

GMN meteorologist Lea Zmurko will be dancing a musical theatre number with dance partner Matthew Frezzell.
