On Oct. 8, 69-year-old momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner shared a joint Instagram post with the celebrity hairstylist, debuting one of her most dramatic transformations to date.

In the clip captioned “Blondie,” Kris was makeup-free, wearing a towel wrap on her head and a brown hoodie, while Chris mixed dye in a bowl.

Kris mouthed the words, “Wait, I need a minute,” over Sabrina Carpenter’s “When Did You Get Hot?” — track eight from her seventh studio album Man’s Best Friend.

Kris placed her hand over the camera, and when she pulled it back, Chris spun the chair around, revealing her platinum blonde transformation.

Since Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered in 2007, Kris has been rocking a dark pixie cut and bobs, so we’re indeed entering a new era.

Many people are pointing out the fact that Kris and Kim Kardashian are switching places, much like in Freaky Friday, considering the All’s Fair star’s new hair debut.

Kris showed off the final look in a follow-up Instagram with the caption, reading, “We had a fun little blonde moment tonight! 👩🏼‍🦳 🍸 Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate the launch of the new @sharkbeauty Shark Glam at CUT Lounge at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel!!”

Every time Kris decides to switch up her look to blonde (which is very rare), it’s worth discussing, because her name is so closely associated with her short, dark hair.

Remember when Kris wore that blonde bob wig at the 2019 Met Gala?

That little wig moment led to this iconic, viral photo that Kim posted on Instagram, giving us a glimpse of a world with a blonde Kris.

Now, we’re back with a new blonde moment in 2025, and just like when Kris teased us with the blonde wig in 2017, everybody had something to say about it.

One person suggested the hair transformation is a reminder that a new season of The Kardashians is about to drop. Season 7 premieres on October 23.
