Mr. International is here connecting the dots worldwide and showing some love to Australia. I recently listened to Scott Curtis, the host of the Australian radio station Life FM, and had to share the details.
Shout out to Life FM, who also had Y Shadey out for Youth Alive, but also interviewed Microdot. If you missed my article, Microdot is a Kiwi-born Korean rapper who went viral with 1.3M views for ‘I Need You Jesus’ and announced his new album would be released on October 15th.
Watch the Life FM Interview Below:
Scott chatted with Faith Child about this new album and the pressure of trying to follow up a popular album. He was especially encouraged by those who sent him
messages on how his music brought them through loss of a parent, self-harm, and this motivated him to stop thinking about numbers and just focus on the music.
Faith Child shared a story on how he connected and developed a relationship with Erica Campbell through Twitter, and eventually met up in the U.S. and did the song for free. He even joked, “I don’t have that Mary Mary money to pay for her. It was all God.”
It’s a blessing to see and hear Christians lifting other Christians on their platforms. Give me a shout out in the comments if you know some more people in your country shining that light. Or you are a fan of Faith Child or Microdot!
