Rachael Ray made a rare public appearance in New York City on Wednesday, October 15.
The celebrity chef, 57, was seen arriving at the CBS Broadcast Center in Midtown Manhattan for a taping of Friday’s episode of the Drew Barrymore Show, per Page Six.
As the National Enquirer previously reported, the former Food Network star sparked fans’ concerns at her last major outing in July, when she was “acting strange and touchy-feely with the guests” at a meet-and-greet for her gin line, an insider revealed.
“It was the middle of the day and hours before cocktail time, but Rachael seemed to be buzzing” added the insider, but a source insisted she was simply “excited” to see her fans, and “if that’s kooky, that’s Rachael.”

But in May, longtime associates told the Enquirer that the former talk show host had “ghosted” them while living abroad in Italy, while fans pointed out several social media videos in which she slurred her speech.
“The hope is that Rachael takes these fears seriously and sees a doctor because something is wrong whether she admits it or not,” the first insider told the Enquirer.
The cookbook author hinted at one problem on an October episode of her podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead. “I love physical labor,” Ray said. “I’ve had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks so I haven’t been doing that in a while.”
