This article contains major spoilers for the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors.
While Alan Carr was undoubtedly the MVP of The Celebrity Traitors’ launch show, it was Tom Daley who delivered our favourite moment of the follow-up episode.
Thursday night’s episode began with the roles of Traitors and Faithfuls having all been cast, meaning the group were already beginning to grow suspicious of one another by the time they sat down for breakfast on their first full day in the castle.

Kate Garraway’s grand reactions to the events of the day quickly put her on a few of her fellow contestants’ radars, but it’s fair to say that no one was more distrustful of her than Olympic gold medallist Tom.
Over the course of the episode, it began apparent that the crochet advocate had convinced himself of Kate’s guilt, the final nail in the coffin (literally) being when Paloma Faith’s fate was sealed, and the Good Morning Britain host responded with an exaggerated claim that she was “flabbergasted” by the turn of the events.
Whether or not Tom realised the side-eye he was giving Kate at the “funeral” remains to be seen, but it quickly became Celebrity Traitors fans’ stand-out moment of the series so far…

Upon the discovery that there had been a “murder” in plain sight, the group were then tasked with their first banishment, with the real Traitors seemingly managing to sneak under the radar.
Instead, fingers appeared to be pointing in many directions, but Kate and YouTube personality Niko Omilana both taking most of the heat.

Frustratingly, the episode ended on a cliffhanger halfway through the banishment, meaning viewers have to wait almost a week until they found out who has been cast out of the group – not to mention who the Traitors will pick to “kill off” next.
The Celebrity Traitors continues on Wednesday 15 October at 9pm on BBC One.
