360WiSE® OFFICIAL CANON

Volume II — Business Authority Infrastructure™

The official public definition of the infrastructure, participation model, operating principles, boundaries, and intended outcomes of 360WiSE Business Authority Infrastructure™.

Version 1.0 Official Public Canon Updated July 2026

Official Definition

360WiSE Business Authority Infrastructure™ is a structured public infrastructure designed to help operating businesses establish, organize, verify, publish, maintain, and connect authoritative information about their identity, ownership, leadership, services, locations, records, relationships, and public history.

It provides businesses with a maintained authority layer that can support clearer understanding across websites, media systems, public records, search environments, AI interfaces, directories, applications, and other digital information systems.

Business Authority Infrastructure™ is not a conventional advertising campaign, profile listing, social media service, reputation score, or search-ranking product. It is an infrastructure model for maintaining structured business identity, evidence, continuity, and public reference over time.

Purpose

The purpose of Business Authority Infrastructure™ is to help a business maintain a stable and understandable public identity in an information environment where facts are frequently fragmented across disconnected platforms.

A business may operate for many years while its official identity, leadership, services, locations, history, credentials, media, ownership relationships, and public records remain scattered across websites, social accounts, directories, articles, databases, and third-party platforms.

Business Authority Infrastructure™ creates a structured method for connecting those facts to the correct business and maintaining them as an organized public authority record.

Why It Exists

Modern digital systems increasingly generate answers, summaries, recommendations, comparisons, and business descriptions from information collected across many independent sources.

When the underlying information is incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, duplicated, or incorrectly connected, the resulting descriptions may also become incomplete or inaccurate.

Business Authority Infrastructure™ exists to help businesses address the condition at the source by creating and maintaining clearer, structured, verified, and connected public information.

The infrastructure does not control what independent systems say. It strengthens the quality, organization, traceability, and continuity of the authoritative information available for those systems to evaluate.

The Business Authority Problem

The business authority problem occurs when a legitimate operating business exists in the physical or legal world but its identity is poorly represented, inconsistently documented, or incorrectly resolved across digital systems.

Common authority gaps may include:

  • Conflicting business names or descriptions
  • Outdated ownership or leadership information
  • Unclear relationships between brands and legal entities
  • Incomplete location or service-area information
  • Missing historical continuity
  • Unverified claims presented without supporting records
  • Duplicate business profiles
  • Disconnected press, media, or public records
  • Incorrect entity matching
  • Unclear official sources
  • Fragmented digital identities
  • Inconsistent information across platforms

These conditions can make it difficult for customers, institutions, journalists, government agencies, search systems, and AI systems to determine which information belongs to the correct business.

Infrastructure Model

Business Authority Infrastructure™ operates as a layered authority model rather than a single page, badge, advertisement, or publication.

Identity Layer

Establishes the official business name, entity relationships, leadership, locations, services, categories, and identifying information associated with the business.

Evidence Layer

Connects material claims to supporting documents, public records, official websites, registrations, licenses, publications, or other appropriate sources.

Registry Layer

Publishes the business within the 360WiSE Registry and assigns a structured public reference associated with the participating entity.

Continuity Layer

Preserves updates, corrections, transitions, historical context, and changes to the business record over time.

Distribution Layer

Supports publication and distribution through appropriate 360WiSE ecosystem properties, media channels, public pages, and reference implementations.

Governance Layer

Defines participation criteria, public boundaries, corrections, terminology, recognition rules, and documentation practices.

  • Legal entity name
  • Alternative or former names
  • Business description
  • Founding or formation information
  • Ownership and leadership
  • Official websites and domains
  • Locations and service areas
  • Products and services
  • Industry and operational categories
  • Licenses, registrations, or credentials where applicable
  • Brand and subsidiary relationships
  • Official social and media properties
  • Published articles and public records
  • Supporting evidence
  • Corrections and revisions
  • Registry identification

Inclusion of any field depends on relevance, availability, verification status, public appropriateness, and the applicable participation pathway.

Participation

Business Authority Infrastructure™ is intended for legitimate operating businesses, professional practices, nonprofit organizations, institutions, brands, enterprises, and other eligible entities seeking to maintain structured public authority records.

Participation may require:

  • Submission of accurate identifying information
  • Confirmation of authority to represent the entity
  • Supporting documentation where required
  • Agreement to published participation terms
  • Correction of materially inaccurate information
  • Ongoing maintenance of current records
  • Compliance with applicable laws and platform policies

Participation does not automatically establish external recognition, ranking, endorsement, certification, or approval.

Relationship to the 360WiSE Framework

Business Authority Infrastructure™ is an implementation pathway within the broader 360WiSE Framework.

It applies the Framework’s principles of identity, verification, resolution, continuity, provenance, governance, public authority, and structured publication to the specific needs of businesses and organizations.

The Framework establishes the governing architecture. Business Authority Infrastructure™ applies that architecture to participating business entities.

Relationship to the Registry

Eligible participating businesses may be published within the 360WiSE Registry and associated with a unique 360WiSE identification reference.

Registry publication provides a stable public reference for the business record maintained within the Framework.

Registry inclusion confirms participation and publication within the 360WiSE Framework. It does not constitute governmental registration, regulatory approval, financial accreditation, legal certification, or endorsement by an independent third party.

Relationship to AI Systems

Business Authority Infrastructure™ is designed to make authoritative business information clearer, more structured, more traceable, and easier for digital systems to evaluate.

Independent AI systems determine their own retrieval, ranking, reasoning, citation, and response behavior. 360WiSE does not control those systems and cannot require them to recognize, cite, rank, recommend, or reproduce any participating business record.

The infrastructure addresses the quality and continuity of the underlying public information. External recognition remains an independent observed outcome.

Public Boundaries

Business Authority Infrastructure™ does not:

  • Guarantee search-engine rankings
  • Guarantee AI recognition
  • Guarantee citations or recommendations
  • Guarantee customer acquisition
  • Guarantee media coverage
  • Guarantee revenue or commercial performance
  • Replace legal or regulatory compliance
  • Replace licensing or accreditation authorities
  • Certify financial condition or creditworthiness
  • Control third-party platforms
  • Control independent AI outputs
  • Erase lawful public records
  • Validate unsupported or misleading claims

Verification within the Framework confirms information according to published 360WiSE criteria. It does not create external approval or recognition.

Intended Outcomes

Business Authority Infrastructure™ is intended to help participating businesses develop:

  • A clearer official business identity
  • A stable public authority reference
  • Better-organized supporting evidence
  • Improved entity and relationship clarity
  • Greater consistency across official publications
  • Maintained historical continuity
  • More transparent corrections and revisions
  • Improved machine readability
  • Stronger public-information readiness
  • A durable foundation for future distribution

These are infrastructure objectives rather than guaranteed external outcomes.
