New Bridgerton, who dis? The fourth season of Shonda Rhimes‘s blockbuster Netflix period romance hands the proverbial rose to another family member searching for love. This time around, it’s the second-eldest Bridgerton kid, Benedict (Luke Thompson), who finds his diamond in the form of Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

A new teaser trailer for the fourth season teases their first meeting and also provides a preview for when we can expect to see the romance unfold. Part 1 of Season 4 debuts on Jan. 29, with Part 2 scheduled for Feb. 26.

Here’s everything you need to know about the return of Bridgerton while waiting for the next chapter in the family’s love story.

What’s new with the Bridgerton clan?

Benedict has been part of Bridgerton since Season 1, but he’s only taking center stage now after side dalliances with Genevieve Delacroix, Lady Tilley Arnold… and Paul Suarez. Sophie enters his life at one of his mother’s masquerade balls and, immediately smitten, he makes a point of finding her sans mask in the outside world with the help of his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie). Turns out she’s a maid that serves the upper crust rather than a member of the upper crust, which will no doubt add complications to their romance.

Elsewhere in the Bridgerton household, Eloise and her younger sister, Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), befriend new debutant siblings Rosamund and Posy Li (Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei), and Anthony and Kate (Jonathan Bailey and Simon Ashley) swing by to confirm their love story is still going strong. Similarly, last season’s couple Colin and Penelope (Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan) are still around, as is Penelope’s alter ego, Lady Whistledown (voiced by recent Emmy winner Julie Andrews).

What’s Bridgerton‘s Emmy count?

To date, Bridgerton has earned 20 Primetime Emmy nominations across its three previous seasons and won five statuettes. Season 1 was its most-nominated year with 12 nods overall, including Best Drama Series. Season 2 was the least-nominated season with three nods and Season 3 earned five nominations, winning three overall.

When can I see it?

Netflix has once again split Bridgerton into two chapters. The first half will debut on Jan. 29, followed by the remaining episodes on Feb. 26.
