ESPN’s College GameDay is currently experiencing record-breaking viewership this season, and each week, the numbers only seem to climb.

In Week 9, the show is heading to Nashville to headline the major SEC showdown between No. 15 Missouri and No. 10 Vanderbilt — marking the first time in over a decade that “GameDay” has visited the university.

Students on Vanderbilt’s campus have already been seen practicing their kicks for Pat McAfee’s weekly kicking contest, where he gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars each week. On Thursday, the show officially announced its celebrity guest picker.

It’s set to be famous comedian and avid Vanderbilt fan Nate Bargatze, one of the top-earning comedians in the world and often referred to as “the nicest man in stand-up.”

“This is gonna be good,” College GameDay posted. “Excited to have comedian and Vanderbilt fan [Nate Bargatze] return as our guest picker this week.”

Someone else added: “Heck yeah!!! I like this pick. Should be a lot of fun!!!”

Another person wrote: “I like Bargatze but it’s so wild to me that they have decided that he is The One Nashville Celebrity.”

“Love this pick. Nate bleeds black and gold,” one more fan commented.
